Job Applications
Night Manager:
- Open and Close the facility
- Act as "host" to DJ/BAND/Performer
- Staff special events which are held at other times besides Friday & Saturday nights
- Share shift duty (10:30pm-3:00am) with other Spot staff members on Friday's & Saturday's
- Attend all mandatory trainings and staff meetings throughout each semester
- Be trained on all professional sound equipment and work to become proficient in their operation
- Maintain game equipment distribution
- Help with set-up and break-down for entertainment (e.g. load in/out of bands, decorate for theme nights, etc.
- Help maintain facility throughout event
- Other duties as assigned
Bartender(s):
- Responsible for all facets of bar & facility, including restocking of snack foods, maintaining proper use of game equipment in case night manager is unavailable at a particular moment, and keeping bar area neat and clean.
- Share shift duty (10:30pm-3:00am) with other Spot staff members on Friday's & Saturday's
- Attend all mandatory trainings and staff meetings throughout each semester
- Responsibly serve alcohol to students over the age of 21 during alcoholic events (Lafayette College Students ONLY) and non-alcoholic beverages to all students and guests
- Maintain the bar areas throughout the shift and help in cleaning at the end of each evening
- Help with set-up and break-down for entertainment (e.g. load in/out of bands; decorate for theme nights, etc.).
- Other duties as assigned
