Map of New Jersey and Pennsylvania

This map shows the canals in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.  It also shows the location of the anthracite coal mines which played an important role in the development of the canals, the Lehigh Valley, and the Industrial Revolution.  Students should be able to locate the canals in their area.
