Barbados Pavilion

Description of the Barbados Pavilion from the Expo '86 Official Souvenir Guide:

The Barbados Pavilion is a tropical getaway. Sculptured palm trees and a vivid exterior mural capture a traditional yet modern world where nature is the perfect backdrop to unexpected surprises.

Inside, discover Barbados from its thriving 17th Century shipping trade to its role today as a communications center. Its colorful stamps are a pavilion highlight.

Barbados is the most easterly island in the Caribbean, a land with a gentle climate and friendly people. Its opportunities for visitors and investors are featured in an audio-visual presentation and by direct link-up to the Industrial Development Corporation in Barbados.
