Panhel Philanthropy Dress Upon a Star (also known as Cinderella's Closet and the Glass Slipper Project) is a nationally recognized program which collects gently used formal wear and accessories to distribute to young women in specific geographic areas in order that they can attend their high school prom. Lafayette College’s Panhellenic Philanthropy Committee values this program because although there are many programs which focus bringing the necessities in life, there are few programs which recognize that some girls are missing out on major life experiences like their senior prom because they do not have access to formal attire. Our goal with this program is to make sure that every girl in the Easton School District has the chance to attend her prom by providing a boutique atmosphere complete with personal shoppers to assist young women in finding their perfect dress.
