Off-Campus Housing
As a residential institution, Lafayette College is committed to a philosophy that living on campus provides students with unique opportunities for enhanced learning and personal growth. These concepts will be extremely beneficial for them as they leave college to enter the working world. Therefore, students are required to live on campus for the duration of their college years.
Each year, students apply for Off-Campus housing status and, based on their academic and disciplinary performance for the first three years of schooling, they are granted the privilege of living off-campus for their Senior Year to help even further their preparation for the challenges that life after college offers.
This website is to be used as a tool to help those who are living in off-campus housing. Whether you live in Private Off-Campus Housing or College Owned Off-Campus Housing, there will be a wealth of information here that includes but is not limited to:
- How to dispose of Garbage
- How to have repairs done (College Owned Only)
- Setting up your cable/internet and phone
- General safety tips
If there is information that you need which is not available on this website, please feel free to call the Office of Residence Life or contact Clarence Scott from the information that will be given below. Also, if you feel that this website is missing something that you would like to see added, please let me know. Thank you and good luck with the school year.
Sincerely,
Clarence Scott Jr.
