By ‘exploring’ literature, the floor members aspire to analyze novels, shorts stories and poems, detect themes in a piece of writing, understand and recognize different genres of literature, research authors’ backgrounds, learn about literature from different time periods, create, refine and perfect their own writings, and learn how to critique others’ work as well as their own.  The members hope to restore the center of college to be focused around the academic pursuit of learning through literature..
