Activity Spaces
Equipment Check-Out
Any member of the Lafayette community with a valid ID may borrow equipment free
of charge. Equipment includes everything from volleyball nets to racquets
and balls.
To reserve equipment for overnight or weekend use, complete an "Equipment
Check-Out Form" and leave a College ID, or account
number until the equipment is returned.

Buck
Racquetball and Squash Courts
Four courts can be converted between the two sports; two are premier
squash surfaces. To reserve a racquet court, call 330-5770 up to 24 hours in advance.
Indoor Climbing Wall
Take your mind and body to new heights on the 40-foot climbing wall.
Group
Exercise Rooms
Two rooms for activities ranging from dance to yoga and various aerobics
classes. Both are equipped with mirrors and sound equipment.
Locker
Rooms
Exercisers can use the quality locker facilities and saunas. Permanent lockers must be registered before use.
Kamine
Gymnasium
This space can be divided into three courts prepared for
activities such as basketball, volleyball, and badminton. The third
court is a specialized area with a synthetic tile surface
enclosed by dasher boards for roller hockey, floor hockey, indoor
soccer, and team handball. Each court has its own scoreboard.
Fitness Center
A full circuit of 30 "selectorized" strength machines with a separate
free-weight area. The facility also incorporates over 30 pieces of cardiovascular
equipment.
Elevated
Jogging Track
This one-tenth mile track encircles the gymnasium with windows on every
side. Pace clocks and stretching areas are located in each corner.
Recreation
and Game Room
A favorite area, this large, open space has four billiard tables, three Ping-Pong tables, two foosball tables, air hockey, and darts.
Two 36-inch televisions flank the room and a group of tables and chairs
are available for playing board games and cards.
Ruef Natatorium
Ruef Natatorium houses a 25 meter, 6-lane lap swimming pool and diving well which includes use of two 1 meter boards. Click here for hours.
