Wendy L. Hill, Provost and Dean of the Faculty

The Provost is the Chief Academic Officer of the College, with responsibility for all functions within the academic division. Provost Hill is the William C. '67 and Pamela H. Rappolt Professor in Neuroscience and a member of the Department of Psychology.

Mary J.S. Roth, Associate Provost for Academic Operations
Ph.D. (University of Maine)

The Associate Provost assists the Provost in a range of academic matters and oversees divisional budgets. Professor Roth is co-chair of the College's Middle States Reaccreditation Committee and assists the Provost in assessment projects. Professor Roth is the Simon Cameron Long Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

Emily A. Schneider, Executive Assistant to the Provost and Dean of the Faculty
B.A. (Rutgers)
Ms. Schneider manages the various faculty evaluation processes; oversees faculty leave requests; and edits the Faculty Handbook and the Department Heads Handbook. She also assists the Promotion, Tenure, and Review Committee, the Appeal and Grievance Committee, and the Educational Policy Committee of the Board of Trustees.

Nancy L. Williams, Assistant to the Provost and Dean of the Faculty
Ms. Williams arranges all appointments for the Provost and all meetings initiated by this Office. She maintains the faculty database for the campus directory and mailing lists. Inquiries concerning faculty recruitment procedures and Professional Activities Forms should be directed to Ms. Williams.

Patsyann Long, Administrative Assistant to the Associate Provosts
Coordinator of Part-Time Studies Program
Ms. Long has responsibility for issuing all contract and payroll authorizations for full-time and part-time faculty and all reimbursements for faculty travel, development grants, professorships, professional development funds, and First-year Seminar and VAST courses. Questions concerning faculty travel and the Part-Time Studies Program should be directed to Ms. Long.

Kimberly A. Bartholomew, Receptionist and Secretary to the Associate Provosts
Ms. Bartholomew is secretary to the Associate Provosts and provides support to the Academic Research Committee and the Director of Sponsored Program. Ms. Bartholomew maintains the Faculty Publication List and oversees the student evaluation process.

Ms. Ball oversees activities designed to secure support for faculty research from government, foundation, and programmatic corporate sources. She also coordinates departmental reviews.
