Quick Facts

  • The Landis Center was named for John W. Landis '39 in June of 1999.
  • The Holiday Helpers program collected over 225 gifts valued at $5,625.00 in December.
  • The Landis Center partnered with PanHellenic Council for a Prom Dress Give-Away in April. The committee collected over 300 formal dress for girls in local high schools!
  • Over 20 Lafayette Faculty members participated in a Learn and Service workshop on service-learning in May.
  • 70 children received a copy of Oh The Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss at this year's Literacy Day.
  • The Alternative School Break Club won the Outstanding Service Organization Award at the Aaron O. Hoff Awards on April 29th.
  • 16 members of the Student Life Professional Staff particpated in a day of service on May 22nd that included a tour of our partner locations, lunch from a local deli, tree planting, and painting.
