Marquis de Lafayette Collections
In honor of the 250th anniversary of the birth of the Marquis de Lafayette on September 6, 2007, we are highlighting our resources on Lafayette, including digitized selections from our extensive Marquis de Lafayette Collections, and two electronic exhibits, Lafayette and Slavery, and Lafayette, Prisoner of Olmütz.
Historical Photograph Collection
More than 1,100 images documenting Lafayette College from its earliest days to the present are now available online. Digitized from the College Archives' holdings, the Historical Photograph Collection includes images of Lafayette presidents, faculty, and staff; campus buildings and grounds; student life and activities; and athletics. The site includes comprehensive metadata, which allows images to be searched, browsed, and sorted in various ways.
