LEAP: Lafayette Environmental Awareness and Protection

LEAP is an student organization at Lafayette College that aims to promote environmental responsibility here on campus and abroad. Our activities include recycling advocacy, peer education on environmental issues, and volunteering for causes related to the environment. We also seek to promote appreciation of nature through outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and canoeing.

LEAP is connected to similar organizations in our region through the Lehigh Valley Progressive Student Alliance, Mid-Atlantic Renewable Energy Association, and Sierra Student Coalition. LEAP is locally connected to the TREEhouse themed living group in Keefe Hall, the Outdoors club, and more loosely to other related campus organizations.

Lafayette College is a signatory to the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment!
