what gets recycled?

Aluminum and Tin Cans Glass Jars and Bottles (clear, brown, green) Plastics #1 and #2 (PETE and HDPE)	Rinse clean, labels can remain Must be in a container clearly marked as recycling
Newspaper	Tie in bundles or place in paper bags
Corrugated cardboard	Break down boxes and tie in bundles No thin cardboard (e.g. cereal boxes); no wax coated or oily boxes (e.g. pizza boxes)
Yard waste	Separate from trash, place in clear bags or label as "yard waste"

when and how?

Recycling pickup on College Hill is every other Wednesday, postponed one day after major holidays. The next pickup date is Wednesday, November 25, 2009. Please put recycling out on the curb before 5:00 AM on the morning of pickup but not prior to 7:00 PM the evening before.

recycle bin City of Easton recycling bins should have been given to all residents at one time. Replacement bins cost $5.00. These bins are not required, however; any container clearly marked as recycling can be used.
