Welcome to the Lafayette Investment Club

The Lafayette Investment Club, one of the largest and most active clubs on the Lafayette campus, gives students the unique opportunity to directly manage a portfolio worth about $300,000. The club strives to combine market/investing education with actual first-hand experience. Whether you invest as a hobby, are interested in a career in finance, or want to learn what a stock is, the Lafayette Investment Club is open to all students. We strive to educate members on the investment process by creating presentations on investment ideas and investing in real assets. Aside from weekly meetings, the club also brings speakers, holds events, organizes trips, and cosponsors with other organizations.

Upcoming Meetings

Our first meeting of the Fall semester will be Friday, September 11 at 12:15 in Simon L3. Everyone is encouraged to attend and bring friends. There will be free pizza and soda.

Also, if you would like to attend Finance Night, an annual gathering in New York of Lafayette students with alumni who work in the financial sector, please fill out this survey and deposit $20 with career services by Monday, October 5 at 5 PM.
