Committee Chairs


Philanthropy Chair

There are two philanthropy chairs on the council. They are in charge of organizing any philanthropy or service event that the IFC sponsors or co-sponsors. The two individuals are also the main contact for all fraternity chapter philanthropy chairs who are looking to start or improve a philanthropy or service event.


Risk Management Chair

The risk management chair is familiar with F.I.P.G. policies. He serves as an advisor to the chapters on registered parties, or other events governed by F.I.P.G. regulations. In the case that a chapter is cited for a conduct violation, this individual will sit down with the IFC Executive Board and the that chapter to discuss what policies to implement in order to prevent the incident from occuring again.


Recruitment Chair

The recruitment chair is in charge of organizing the First-Year Student Open Forum in the fall and the Greek Fair in the spring. He also works with the IFC editor to produce the recruitment packet that is distributed to first year students in the spring.


Editor

The editor is in charge of editing and publishing the Greek Voice. He collects articles written by chapter members and works with the Panhellenic Council editor to create a pamphlet. He also works on any other IFC publications.


Social Chair

This position is in charge of organzing events that foster a good relationship between the Greek community and the campus community.


Marketing Assistant

This individual works closely with the Marketing Chair and the Secretary to ensure that all IFC sponsored and co-sponsored events are adequately advertised around campus.


Faculty Relations Chair

The faculty relations chair works to improve ties between the Greek community and the administration and faculty at Lafayette College.
