About Fraternities

Fraternities at Lafayette College

There are currently six fraternities at Lafayette College. Each is nationally affiliated and recognized by the college. Fraternities at Lafayette are all-male social living groups that host social functions, philanthropy, and serivce events each semester. In addition, the chapters compete in an extensive intramural sports program.

A male student in good academic standing with the college may join a fraternity beginning in the first semester of his sophomore year. Each fraternity currently occupies its own chapter house. A member may choose to reside in the chapter house beginning in his junior year.
