PINs and User ID Rules
- Your User ID cannot be changed.
- Your User ID is the number that appears on your Lafayette ID card, except for the first character, which must be converted to an “L”.
- If you have tried to log into the Lafayette College Information Systems twice without success, refer to Chapter 1: Wrong PIN or User ID Entered in the Employee Self-Service User Manual and follow those instructions. The manual is accessible from this web site. Click on Employee Self-Service User Manual to view.
- If you cannot remember the answer to your security question, or if your account becomes locked after six attempts to log into the “Enter Secure Area” link on our Web based Information Systems, you must contact the Office of Human Resources. The Office of Human Resources can reset PINS.
- If you are trying to log into any other Information System and are encountering difficulties, contact the appropriate department.
- PINS will be reset over the phone, if the call is from a valid college extension, and you can successfully respond to a series of questions. You must also know the answer to your security question. Otherwise, you must visit the Office of Human Resources in person. Please bring your Lafayette College ID card.
- NEVER compromise your PIN.
