Latino Awareness Conference

Our goal with this conference in the past three years has been to provide the opportunity for cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary dialogue on campus. To allow students from various majors as well as interest present their research on Latino and Latin American issues. We have organized panels on diversity, educational brownbags, and other activities designed to encourage collaborations between Hispanic students, other cultural groups on campus, and the general student body. Toward that end, we are holding several activities that underscore the connections that we share with different student groups on campus.
