"Dreadful Sorry, Guys" a one-act play originally written by musician and playwright Claudia Stevens Inspired by the July, 1999 murder of her friend, Gary Matson, and his partner, Winfield Mowder, near Redding, California, the play explores the human impulses to destroy those different from ourselves, the collective guilt that people face when it is too late to act, and the loneliness and emptiness of a world without diversity. Claudia Stevens is renowned as one of the most innovative and noteworthy interdisciplinary performing artists before the public. Sponsored by LINC, Hillel, ALF, Religious Life, QuEST, and WJRH 104.9 |
