XRD Laboratory
The Department of Geology and Environmental Geosciences has a Scintag PAD V X-Ray Diffractometer.
Students use the XRD in classes, as well as when involved in Student-Faculty Research projects.
In 2005, the XRD was upgraded with a new Motex Detector, and a new Copper X-Ray source With these new
parts, the XRD is running wonderfully.
