TEAM AWARDS

The 3-weapon championship trophy shall be awarded to the team compiling the highest total
number of bouts won in all three events.  Likewise, the fiol/epee/sabre team trophies shall be
awarded to the teams compiling the highest number of bouts won in foil/epee/sabre.  These
trophies are rotating.

Plaques shall be awarded the second and third place teams in the 3-weapon (total), foil, epee,
and sabre team events.

The team sportsmanship rotating trophy shall be awarded the team which exhibits the best
sportsmanship throughout the tournament

Ties for trophies result in the sharing of trophies by the schools involved, with the expsnes of
engraving also being shared.
 
 

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

With the one-pool-per-weapon forman, individual standings are based on the results of the pool.
Medals shall be awarded to the top three (3) fencers in each weapon.

With the "A-B-C" pool format, individual standing are based on the results of the individual
finals only.  Medals with ribbons (or small plaques) shall be awarded to the top three (3)
fencers in each weapon; medals without ribbons to the #4, 5, and 6 fencers in each weapon.

Medals are awarded to the individual members of the first, second, and third place teams in the
3-weapon, foil, sabre, and epee, team events.

All-Conference awards are given to those fencers who place in the top 10 (dual meet statistics)
and place in the top 6 (championship individual final).

A plaque is given to the coach voted Coach of the Year by his colleagues.
