Communities: La Fortuna

Background

We have been working in La Fortuna since January 2006, when our team performed an initial site assessment.  Since that site assessment, we have analyzed the needs according to our Community Oriented Design and Evaluation Process for Sustainable Infrastructure (CODE-PSI), we have used the site assessment to evaluate the needs of La Fortuna, brainstorm several potential solutions that would meet the needs, and analyze each of the potential solutions to find out which set of solutions is the most sustainable.  Our next step is to approach the community with our recommendations and collectively agree on a final design, so that implementation may begin.
