Two different methods of home water treatment were considered for the LaFortuna-Tule project, Filtron ceramic filters and activated carbon filters.  The pros and cons of each option were evaluated to determine the best option for LaFortuna-Tule.  The evaluations took into account economics, social considerations, and technical feasibility.
