In early May, 41 student teams from different colleges and Universities will be traveling to Washington , D.C. for the EPA’s second annual P3 Competition.  P3 standing for People, Prosperity, and Planet.  These teams will have innovative, cutting-edge technology designs for green buildings, innovative fuel technologies, ideas on rainwater collection, and options for “greening” apparel in industry.  The top six teams will be awarded a government grant worth up to $75,000.  The Green Building Initiative, American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and the International Center for Appropriate and Sustainable Technology will announce separate awards at the competition as well.

For The P3 competition, Lafayette students have designed a water system and a sanitation system for the villagers of La Fortuna, Honduras .  The following are links to the appendices from each section of the report.  The PDF file at the bottom is the final report.
