Frostbite Regatta- November 10, 2007
The Frostbite Regatta is a fun regatta for transitioning from head racing back to 2000 meter racing. There are no heats nor semi-finals. There may be three races of the Men's Varsity 8+, for instance, and there will be three winners.
Boats Entered: MN4+, ML4+A, ML4+B, MV4+, MN8+, ML8+, MV8+, WN4+A, WN4+B, WL4+, WV4+A, WV4+B, WN8+, WV8+
Top Performances:
First Place- Women's Lightweight 4+: The WL4+ took first in the only race in this event.
First Place- Women's Varsity 4+ A and B: Both WV4+ boats took first place in their respective races.
Second Place- Men's Lightweight 4+
Second Place- Women's Novice 8+
Third Place- Men's Varsity 4+

Head of the Charles- October 20-21, 2007
Boats Entered: Lafayette sent two boats to the Head of the Charles: A Women's Championship 4+ (Jackie Molzon [Cox], Lauren Blakeslee, Katie Milot, Alison Quigley, Lauren Menges) and a Men's Lightweight 4+ (Will Karr [Cox], Gabe Rivera, Max Glose, Tyler Sossong, Mark Panny).
Results:
Women's Championship 4+: The four seniors and one junior in this boat were ineligible to race in either the club or collegiate events due to having placed in the top 5 at the previous year's Head of the Charles. Lafayette placed 13th out of 21 boats, 1' 21" behind the winning boat from the Canadian National Team. Lafayette was the 7th fastest American college in the field, placing 26" behind Stanford, the fastest American crew (and college) in the event.
Lightweight Men's 4+: The two freshmen and three sophomores in this boat placed 22nd out of 23, in what was a first appearance at the Head of the Charles for all four of the rowers.
