NCBA North Atlantic - East Conference Player of the Week
Pete Bain (5/4-5/10, 2009)
Bain, a freshman, got the opening start at the Regional Tournament for Lafayette against a Penn State offense that came into the weekend on fire. Pete allowed 5 earned runs on 7 hits and 5 walks while striking out 4.

Mike Spier (4/20-4/26, 2009)
Michael picked up a win over Rutgers by throwing five strong innings. He struck out seven batters while allowing just 2 earned runs on 4 hits and 3 walks.

Ben Silver (3/30-4/5, 2009)
Silver was dominant in the final game of a 3-game sweep over Drexel. Ben pitched a complete game shutout, allowing just 1 walk and 4 hits, while tying his own Lafayette record with 10 strikeouts.

Pete Bain (3/23-3/29, 2009)
Bain receives Pitcher of the Week honors after his first career start. In 2 innings of work, Pete struck out 3 batters without allowing a hit in a win over Lehigh. He walked just two batters.

Avery Brooks (4/23-4/29, 2007)
Avery picked up 2 conference wins in his 2 starts this past week. In 11 innings Avery struck out 6 batters, allowed 8 hits, walked 4 batters, and only gave up a total of 2 runs.

Ben Silver (4/2-4/8, 2007)
Ben threw a complete game to take the conference win against TCNJ. In 6 innings he gave up 2 hits and 3 walks but struck out 5 and allowed only 1 earned run.

Phil Silverberg (4/30-5/6, 2006)
Silverberg mined his way through the Rutgers line-up throwing a complete game 3 hitter while striking out 10 and allowing 0 runs.

Kevin Manilenko (4/23-4/29, 2006)
No flashy numbers but a big one in the win column for Kevin this past weekend against conference rival Lehigh.

Back to back pitcher of the week, Phil did the job striking out 5 in the 6 1/3 he pitched between two games.
