At Lafayette College, undergraduate students are given many opportunities to do cutting edge research working one-on-one with faculty. Students have the option of taking for credit courses as either an honors thesis research or an independent study project or they can apply for an EXCEL Scholarship. EXCEL scholars are paid to conduct research during the semester, over the interim, or during the summer.
