Latest News - Spring Count 2008
Full-time coverage began Feb 25, with Tussey veteran Tom Magarian as the official counter for the first part of the spring. Tom will leave for Cape May in mid-March, so we will need counter help!
The year's first golden eagles were spotted by Nick Bolgiano on Feb 24.
Congrats to Tom and Chuck for the BIG eagle flight on March 3rd...62 goldens obliterated the previous site record of 32!!
Congrats to all for the season's 200th golden eagle on March 15th! We have also set a new site record for bald eagles with 39 as of the 15th.
