Lafayette College Weather Station

Description
The Lafayette College weather station is mounted on top of the Hugel Science Center at the highest point on campus. It is a solar-powered Rainwise WS-2000 that transmits to dedicated computer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
Status
The weather station has been operating since summer 2000.
Data
Temperature, pressure, humidity, wind speed and direction, and rainfall are measured at 1-min intervals. The current conditions data are displayed on the Lafayette College Weather Page. Archived data have not been checked and are not currently available to the public. However, data can be obtained from the ABE NWS station at Lehigh Valley International Airport, about 10 miles west of the watershed.
