Suggested A.B. Biology Curriculum Planning Sheet (32 courses)

NOTE: with the exception of Biol. 101/102, the biology courses indicated may be taken in any order you wish. However, attention should be given to the timing of prerequisites for the advanced courses you wish to take, particularly so for the seminar and writing ("W") course requirements. Students interested in research with a faculty mentor should take a lab course from the mentor during the sophomore or junior year (for more information on student research refer to A Handbook for Research Students, also available in hard copy from the Departmental office).
