Steven Belletto is Assistant Professor of English at Lafayette College. He earned his PhD in American Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. At Lafayette College, he specializes in courses that explore twentieth-century American literature and culture. His specific teaching interests include American fiction, especially of the twentieth century; Cold War literature; the novel; postmodernism; aesthetics; narrative; and the Beats. In addition to literature courses, Professor Belletto teaches courses in American Studies and college writing.

Professor Belletto is currently writing a book about the concept of chance in Cold War American narrative. His work has appeared in such journals as ELH, Contemporary Literature, Clio, American Studies, and Nabokov Studies.
