| Lafayette's Ellis Finger Receives NAPAMA Award for Excellence in Presenting the Performing Arts |
| Ellis Finger, Director of the Williams Center for the Arts, has been named the 2006 winner of the Award for Excellence in Presenting the Performing Arts, presented by North American Performing Arts Managers and Agents (NAPAMA). The award is presented
annually to a not-for-profit performing arts presenter who demonstrates
these qualities: In addition to the citation for excellence, the Award recipient receives a $1000 check on behalf of NAPAMA made payable to the individual's organization to be dedicated to the organization's endowment. The Award will be presented at the annual Association of Performing Arts Presenters conference in January by a NAPAMA board member. NAPAMA (North American
Performing Arts Managers and Agents) is a not-for-profit service organization,
founded in 1979, dedicated to promoting the professionalism of its members
and the vitality of the performing arts. |
