19 The Division of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior of the American Psychological Association was created in 1964. The Association for Behavior Analysis was founded in 1974. Both of these organizations are concerned both with basic and applied parts of the field.

20 The Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis was founded in 1968, and more than 20 related journals have been founded since.

21 Holland and Skinner programmed part of Skinner's undergraduate course at Harvard and published it as The Analysis of Behavior in 1961. Skinner surveyed the field in a book called The Technology of Teaching published in 1968. The Pittsburgh paper appears as Chapter 10 in this book.
