• Conceived, end of May/beginning of June 1969.
• Born in Chattanooga, TN, March 1970.
• Endured hernia operation, Fall 1971. (Ouch!)
• Discovered Lego, Spring 1974.
• My sister Laura appeared, February 1980.
• Enrolled at North Carolina State University, Fall 1988; got a degree in May 1992.
• Enrolled at Princeton University, Fall 1992.
• Took leave of absence from Princeton, 1993-1994; worked at small software company that was eventually gobbled up by Microsoft.
• Married Barbara Milewski, September 1998.
• Defended "On finitely-generated quantum logic," July 1999.
• Started teaching at Lafayette, August 1999.
• We have a little tomato, harvested February 2001.
• We have another tomato, harvested May 2003.
