Christopher Haight '09 is a Policy Studies Major with an Arts and Media Concentration. His interests include economics and the role of media in political contexts. Christopher has been involved with Amnesty International, helped produce the Lafayette student Darfur podcast, and established the Policy in Action Club for Policy Studies Majors.

Christopher interned over the 2008 spring break with the Clinton Campaign Headquarters and will be interning with the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C. over the summer.

Christopher is also the first recipient of the Caine Scholars Award in Global Leadership, Business, and Policy.

Jayne Miller '10 is a Policy Studies major with a focus in Arts and Media, and a minor in English. Pursuing a career in political journalism, she interned over the summer for The McLaughlin Group, the Washington-based talk show with fiery host John McLaughlin. At Lafayette, she is the news editor of the Lafayette student newspaper, and student director of the Marquis Players drama group. Jayne is also involved in the new Policy in Action club, choir, and Arts Society.

Estefania Sanchez '10 is a Policy Studies major with an Education concentration. She has been collaborating with Universidad Andina Simon Bolivar in Ecuador to sustain the project “Teacher Training” which provides teachers in public primary schools with better teaching methods for the children to obtain a better education and therefore a better future.

Daniel Stefan '10 is a Policy Studies major with a focus on Corporate and Public Finance. Daniel interned at Booz Allen Hamilton during the Winter Interim and will be interning for both TGS Financial Advisors in Radnor, PA and the Lafayette College Office of Public Information in Easton, PA this summer. He was also recently appointed as the Student Delegate to the Trustee Committee on Financial Policy for the upcoming year.

Marie Garofalo '10 is a Policy Studies major with an Arts and Media Concentration. She was the Stage Manager for the 2006 Election Night Broadcast and assisted with filming during the China Conference in March 2007. Marie took part in an externship at CNN in January 2008.

Jeff Katz ’10, policy studies major with a focus on economic policy, headed to Florida after high school in 2004 as a ninth round draft choice for the Atlanta Braves. Although an injury ended his experience in baseball’s minor leagues, Katz now plays defensive lineman for the Leopards football team. He is a Patriot League Academic Honor Roll
selection, a peer health educator, and a member of the Investment Club. Katz serves as the public relations representative for Policy in Action.
