Facilities

Facilities in the Department of Geology and Environmental Geosciences are outstanding. We are the sole occupant of Van Wickle Hall; our students have full access to the building and its facilities at all hours. We have state of the art computer, geophysical, hydrologic, optical, fluid-inclusion and x-ray equipment. Completely modernized classrooms in the building are outfitted with "smart-classroom" technology. These rooms are equiped with computers, video/dvd players, document cameras, slides, and more. The department also has extensive mineral and fossil collections.
