Lafayette College Externship Program

For over 25 years, Lafayette alumni, parents, and friends have assisted students in exploring careers through the Externship Program.  Externships are two to five day job shadowing opportunities offered during the January interim session. By shadowing a career volunteer in the workplace, students gain insight into a specific career or industry of interest.

The student gets a “real world” feel for what the job is like and hosts get the satisfaction of sharing career knowledge with Lafayette students of the next generation.
