About the Staff

Linda Arra, Director
Linda Arra has more than 21 years of experience in higher education including career development, counseling, and academic advising with both traditional age students and career transition adults. In addition to overseeing the career services program at Lafayette, she works individually with students to help them achieve their career goals.

Linda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Spanish from Lafayette College, and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Lehigh University.  She is a licensed professional counselor in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a National Certified Counselor.  Linda serves on the career services advisory board for Idealist.org.

Rachel Nelson Moeller, Associate Director
Rachel Nelson Moeller has over 14 years of experience in higher education. Her work at Lafayette involves assisting students in all parts of the career development process, as well as coordinating the alumni sponsored externship and internship programs. She also works to cultivate Lafayette alumni willing to share their career expertise with current students.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business from Lafayette College, Masters degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a post-Masters Certificate in Career Development from John F. Kennedy University. She has written and presented on numerous topics related to academic and career advising.

Nanette Cooley, Assistant Director - Employer Relations
Nanette Cooley has served as a member of the Career Services staff since 2002. Her role involves managing recruitment programs including employer outreach and cultivation. In addition, she works individually with students supporting them in the career development process.

Nanette holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and a Masters degree in Counseling Services from Rider University. She has acquired nearly 18 years of higher education experience.

Maureen Walz Boehmer, Assistant Director - Special Programs
Maureen Walz Boehmer has seven years of experience in higher education and prior human resources and recruiting experience in the corporate and nonprofit sectors. Her work at Lafayette involves assisting students in all aspects of the career development process as well as coordinating off-campus affinity group and general events for students to network with alumni.

Maureen holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Rider University and a Masters of Education in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Kutztown University.

Molly Sunderlin, Career Counselor
Molly Sunderlin has worked in education since graduating from college. She joined the Career Services staff in fall 2007 as a career counselor. Her past experiences teaching high school students and advising adults have led her to career counseling in higher education.

Molly has taught Spanish in a variety of settings including inner city Chicago and suburban Wisconsin. Molly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Geology and Spanish from Colgate University and her Masters of Education degree from DePaul University.

Janine Block, Information Specialist
Janine Block joined the Career Services staff in 1998.  In her role she oversees the collection of post-graduate data and prepares the annual placement report, designs and maintains the Career Services web page and edits office publications.  Janine also holds a dual role on campus as International Student Advisor, overseeing the International Students Association and advising on immigration matters.

Janine earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in East Asian Studies from Lafayette College, taught English in Japan following graduation and has been working in education for 12 years.

Rochelle Crozier, Manager of Recruiting and IT Services
Rochelle Crozier joined the Career Services staff in 2001. In her role she oversees the posting of jobs and internships, works along side the Assistant Director of Employer relations to coordinate the annual career fair, and coordinates the on campus interviews and employer information sessions.

Rochelle is currently attending DeSales University to attain a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Technology.

Amy Blythe, Office Coordinator
Amy Blythe has been a familiar face at Lafayette since 2001, when she began working part-time for various departments on campus. A year later she took on her first long-term position in the Dean of the College's office and then spent three years in the Psychology department before joining Career Services in fall 2007. Amy's responsibilities include assisting students with appointments, managing office workflow and overseeing various projects vital to the department.

Amy is currently working toward a degree in English, right here at Lafayette.

Laura Matulewicz, Part-time Office Assistant
Laura Matulewicz joined the Career Services staff in September 2007 and assists with projects and student needs.
