Lafayette College Theater Angels 2006–2007

An “angel” in the theater traditionally is a person who financially backs a production. Funds contributed by Lafayette College Theater Angels will be used exclusively to innovate and invigorate the theater education of our students and, by extension, our audiences.

Angels’ contributions allow us to hire guest artists, expand our curriculum, and provide outreach and master classes that reinforce our mission as theater educators.

Our spring 2004 external review looks like it may lead to exciting growth in the program, following the committee's recommendations. We've hired a new full-time faculty member, Mary Jo Lodge, who'll direct this season's Into the Woods; secured a new, large rehearsal room in Pardee Hall, which should help alleviate some of the overscheduling of the Black Box at the Williams Center; and welcome Robert Mundhenk to direct The Rivals, one of several guest directors in recent seasons.

Your support will help us build on our past accomplishments toward an exciting future.
