Useful Information for Our Audiences

The box office is the window of room 132 in the Williams Center, down the right-hand hallway as you come in the front doors. If the window is closed, the box office is closed. Please respect our business hours and refrain from asking the main office staff to sell you tickets.

The box office phone number is (610) 330-5009.

Box office hours are Monday through Friday 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The box office is also open one hour before performances.

The box office will open for the 2008–2009 season on Tuesday, August 26 FOR WINDOW SALES ONLY. We will begin taking phone orders on Wednesday, August 27. We will fill mail orders as they arrive throughout the summer.

The box office will be closed for college holidays on these dates:

All patrons must have tickets, regardless of age. Please be considerate of others and leave your children at home if they are too young to sit quietly through the performance. In general, our performances are unsuitable for children under the age of seven.

Students enrolled at the member institutions of the Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges receive a discount on purchases of tickets to individual events. Full-time college students at other schools, and elementary and secondary school students, also receive a discount.

If a performance is sold out, a waiting list will be kept at the box office. If any tickets become available, they will be offered to waiting list patrons on a first-come basis. Box office staff will call you if tickets become available; you must pay for the tickets with a Visa or Mastercard. We are unable to hold tickets without payment or to leave messages. The waiting list will expire no later than 5:00 on the day of the sold-out performance.

If a performance is sold out, we will sell a limited number of Standby tickets at the box office, beginning one hour before the performance begins. Standby tickets must be purchased in person and are limited to one ticket per person; no preference is given to those who may have been on a waiting list. Patrons holding Standby tickets are asked to wait in line at the sign in the lobby. If any tickets are returned or seats become available, these patrons will be seated by the ushers in the order in which they are standing in line. We may also be able to place these patrons in seats that remain open just before the performance begins; however, they may be asked to move if another patron presents a ticket for that seat. If you purchase an Standby ticket and we are unable to seat you, your purchase will be refunded.

The main performance space at the Williams Center for the Arts has a seating capacity of 400; the Black Box seats approximately 100, depending on configuration. Click here to see a seating chart for the main space, or here to download a printable PDF of the chart.
